Buyer Protection

Buyer Protection

All customers who shop for products on AllGoods are entitled to full buyer protection. Auctions are not covered by AllGoods buyer protection.

Peace of Mind

These are the ways that AllGoods protects you as a buyer and guarantees a worry-free shopping experience.

1. High store standards

Sellers opening stores on AllGoods are required to agree to a Store Policy upholding them to a high level of customer service. AllGoods monitors these stores, and will not allow stores with consistent negative feedback to sell on AllGoods.

2. Easy and transparent communication

Not only do we have an on-site chat system which you can use to contact the seller directly, we also collect and verify sellers’ contact information and details. You can communicate with your seller both before and after purchasing a product to gather information and keep track of the status of your purchase.

3. We safeguard your information

Our website uses SSL, the industry standard level for encryption, so you can be sure that your data is safe and secure. Any payment details are sent directly to Stripe, our payment provider. We do not store any payment details, except for the last 4 digits of your card to help identify it.

4. AllGoods Disputes

In the unlikely event that something goes wrong and you are unsatisfied with the seller’s response, you may request an intervention by AllGoods. Our dedicated team will assess the situation and work towards a resolution.

Reporting a Seller

Step 1: Cancellation/Refund Request

If you wish to cancel or get a refund on your purchase you can request these at various stages of the product purchase process. You can do this from the 'Purchases' page within My AllGoods. After you send a request this will show up on the sellers account and they will be able to respond to you and/or complete any cancellation/refund through their order management system.

Step 2: Open a Dispute

If the seller does not respond to you within a reasonable time frame we recommend first contacting the seller and trying to resolve the issue indepenently. Most sellers are happy to sort things out and resolve any issues with a buyer. You can do this through the in-site messaging system or any other contact format if the details have been provided to you during the purchase.

In the case where independant negotiation with the seller is unsuccessful, you can open an official dispute. You can do this from the 'Purchases' page within My AllGoods. This dispute form is sent directly through to an AllGoods moderator and will not be seen by the seller. An AllGoods moderator will review your dispute and will mediate between you and the seller to help reach a resolution.
