Returning an item

If you wish to return an item because you have changed your mind, you will need to check the store's policy regarding returns. AllGoods encourages sellers to allow for returns in these cases. However, stores vary as to their policies and requirements involving returns.

If the item you purchased is damaged or does not fit the listing description, first contact the seller to try and resolve this issue. If this fails, you can open a dispute to officially begin the process of resolving this issue.


Who pays for return shipping?

If you have changed your mind about the item you purchased, you may need to pay for the return shipping costs. This depends on the seller's returns policy.

If the item you purchased is damaged or does not match the listing description, the buyer will not have to cover the return shipping cost.

In the case of an auction, you may not be able to return the purchased item. Try contacting the seller of the auction first. If this doesn’t resolve the issue, open a dispute as detailed above.


What if the seller doesn’t accept returns?

Our AllGoods Buyer Protection means you can open a dispute and get things sorted if the item you have purchased is damaged or does not fit the listing description. If you have simply changed your mind about your purchase, it is up to the store to make a decision.

Contacting a seller

Contacting a seller is a good way to find out more about the product you are thinking of buying or sorting out any issues related to the product you have bought.

To contact the store manager, simply click on the 'Chat with seller' button on any product listing page. The store manager should get back to you as soon as possible. Regular user accounts with auctions can also be contacted through our on-site chat system.
