Q:   What is AllGoods?

A: We are a marketplace where Kiwis can buy and sell online. We provide a cheap and easily maintainable way for businesses to set up online storefronts. New Zealander’s finally have a fair and user-friendly e-commerce platform which doesn’t cost an arm or a leg!

 

Q: What are AllGoods fees?

A: It is free for users to sign up and completely free for them to list and sell auctions.

An AllGoods Store subscription costs $4/month, plus a 2% success fee per transaction.

AllGoods's payment provider, Stripe, has a 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction fee for payments using credit/debit cards.

 

Q: Do AllGoods charge on postage like TradeMe does?

A: No, AllGoods only charge their commision on the cost of the product.

 

Q:  How do I open a store on AllGoods?

A: First, you will need to register as a user.  After completing your initial registration, which only takes 2 minutes, you will have the option to 'Open a Store' from your top right menu or from your My AllGoods page.

 

Q: How will I receive payment with AllGoods?

A: Payments are processed by our payment provider, Stripe. Your customers will be able to pay by credit or debit card. The payments will be cleared straight away but Stripe has a 4 day holding period after which stores will be able to withdraw the money into their designated bank account.  There is a credit/debit card processing fee of 2.9% + $0.30 per successful transaction.

 

Q:  Can I list an auction?

A: Yes, you can! Auctions are free to list with no success fees. When listing an item, you will be able to choose whether you want to sell the item as an auction or as a product. Products must be new items and can only be sold by AllGoods stores.

 

Q:  Why should I use AllGoods instead of Trade Me?

A: We offer a lot more features that make selling online simpler and faster while charging you only a fraction of the cost of Trade Me.  For example, we provide:

  • Unique split of products and auctions;

  • Real-time chat system for stores and customers;

  • No overcrowding by international sellers;

  • Integration with social media concepts - timeline, store posts, sharing, following;

  • Integrated inventory manager at no extra cost;

  • Cheaper fees that leave more profit for you!

 

Q: What can I do if I believe someone else has used my account?

A: If you believe that someone has been trying or has been accessing your account, change your password immediately. Make sure to confirm that no one you have given permission to use your account has made any changes.

Verify your address and payment information. Check that all the current bids and purchased items were made by you. If you are unable to sign in, let us know right away. We will keep your account secure until we know it’s you accessing your account.

 

Q: How can I keep my account safe?

A: There are a few steps that you can take towards keeping your account safe.

  1. Don’t share personal information, such as your AllGoods password or bank account details, with anyone.

  2. Create a unique password that is difficult for anyone else to guess.

  3. Keep the antivirus and other security software on your computer up to date.

  4. Change your password regularly.
